Workshop Schedules

 

The Learningtree Network reserves the right to change the calendar of "web-based" online workshop and "live" online webinar training sessions without notice and to cancel any workshop with insufficient enrollment.  In such an event, registered participants will be given sufficient advance notice, and will be eligible to reschedule or register for a new workshop or webinar, or request a full refund.

 

Registration Fees

 

Workshop and webinar fees are listed with each course description and are payable in full at the time of registration. 

 

Staff development and training completed to improve or maintain professional skills are usually tax-deductible.  Consult with your tax consultant for further information regarding this possible tax deduction.

 

Workshop and webinar fees are subject to change without notice.

 

Group Discounts 

 

Organizations who register a group of employees for "web-based" online workshops or "live" online webinars are eligible for group discounts.  Prices listed for the Group Enrollment Packages for “web-based” online workshops include significant discounts for multi-seat enrollments.  Discounts are applied to 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, or “Unlimited”  multi-seat group enrollment packages. 

 

Additional workshop group enrollment discounts are offered from time to time at the discretion of The Learningtree Network.

"Unused"  workshop seats can be used by staff members of an organization to enroll in any "web-based" online workshop offered by The Learningtree Network, unless otherwise noted.  "Unused" workshop seats are valid for one (1) or two (2) years following the date of purchase depending upon the workshop or as otherwise noted.

 

Organizations interested in receiving a discounted "multi-seat" group enrollment package for a "live" online webinar should contact The Learningtree Network office toll-free at 888-663-2488 to receive a special registration code to be used during the online registration process.

 

Transfer, Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

"Live" Online Webinars:

 

Enrollment in "live" online webinars allows registrants to transfer to future webinars, allow someone to take their place, or cancel without penalty at any time up to two (2) days before the scheduled webinar.  Failure to provide The Learningtree Network with the required notice, or failure to attend, will revoke any registrant's rights to a refund unless otherwise noted.  

 

“Web-based” Online Workshops (Single-Seat Registration):

 

The Learningtree Network will issue a full refund or a credit to attend another "web-based" online workshop at no additional cost to any participant who is unsatisfied with any web-based online workshop according to the following conditions.  A participant who registered for the "web-based" online workshop using the “Individual Single-Seat Registration” option must contact The Learningtree Network office by telephone within twelve (12) hours of starting the workshop and before the issuance of a Certificate of Attendance.

 

No refund or credit will be issued, regardless of reason, unless all of the above conditions have been satisfied.

 

“Web-based” Online Workshops (Multi-Seat Registration):

 

The Learningtree Network will issue a full refund to any organization that purchased a group of "web-based" online workshop seats that is unsatisfied with any web-based online workshop according to the following conditions. An authorized representative of the organization must contact The Learningtree Network office by telephone within twelve (12) hours of the start of the workshop by the first program participant from their organization and before the issuance of a Certificate of Attendance. 

 

No refund or credit will be issued, regardless of reason, unless all of the above conditions have been satisfied.

 

"Web-Based" Online Workshop, "Live" Online Webinar Technical Requirements

 

To take full advantage of "web-based" online workshops and "live" online webinars participants are encouraged to use a desktop computer that has a microphone, audio, and webcam capabilities, as well as a reliable internet service and browser.

 

Upon registering for a "live" online webinar, registrants will receive a confirmation email with directions for accessing webinar materials, as well as a link to use for accessing the webinar on the scheduled day and time.  Course materials for webinars should be downloaded and printed prior to the start of a webinar.

 

Participants attending "live" online webinars should access the webinar from a "quiet area" of their home that is free of noise or visual distractions.  The Learningtree Network reserves the right to disconnect any webinar participant that causes distractions or disruptions that interfere with the webinar.  In such a case, the participant will not be entitled to any partial or full refund of paid webinar tuition fees.

 

The Learningtree Network uses a state-of-the-art system for its "live" online webinars and connections are highly reliable.  Should a participant become disconnected from a webinar, the participant should re-connect to the webinar by clicking on the workshop "link" that was received upon registering for the webinar and used to initially access the webinar.  Should a participant be permanently disconnected from a webinar due to a power outage in their home, the participant should contact The Learningtree Network office (888-663-2488) to make arrangements to attend the webinar at another time, to enroll in a different webinar, or to receive a full refund.

 

Issuance of Certificates of Attendance

 

The Learningtree Network will issue a Certificate of Attendance to a participant who completes a workshop and any post-workshop requirements.  Additional workshop requirements, if any, will be noted in the workshop description.

 

A Certificate of Attendance will include the name of the participant, as well as the name of the workshop and the date completed.  Additionally, the certificate will include the number of training clock hours earned by the participant. Certificates of Attendance for all “on-site” in-person workshops will be emailed to participants completing the workshop or webinar within 5 business days following the completion of the course unless other arrangements are made by the participant. Workshop certificates for "web-based" online workshops are automatically generated upon the completion of the workshop and need to be downloaded by the participant.  

 

The Learningtree Network will provide any additional course information, or instructor credentials needed to satisfy licensing requirements.  Requests for this information can be made by contacting The Learningtree Network toll-free at 888-663-2488. 

   

Terms and Conditions

 

All content and materials used in connection to The Learningtree Network "on-site" in-person workshops, "web-based" online workshops, or "live" online webinars are copyrighted by The Learningtree Network or third parties.  All content, materials, and all presenter and participant interactions are provided for non-commercial, personal development use only and may not be modified, copied, reproduced, redistributed, recorded, or otherwise used for public or commercial purpose, including in the creation of education or training materials or any use on the internet, without the express written consent of The Learningtree Network.  

 

The recording of any “on-site” in-person workshop, “web-based” online workshop, or "live" online webinar is strictly prohibited.  Recorded copies of "live" online webinars are available upon request.

 

The Learningtree Network reserves the right to prohibit participation in any of its workshops or webinars and revoke any rights, for violation of policies, provisions, or terms and conditions. Revocation of rights will be at the discretion of The Learningtree Network, and related fees are nonrefundable.
